About

Developer turned product thinker

I'm Esben Clausen Nørgaard — a developer by training who has spent years working at the intersection of business problems and technical solutions. I co-founded and built Vitus Cloud, a B2B SaaS platform, from a blank slate to a production product used by real customers.

That journey moved me from writing code to shaping what gets built and why. I understand the technical side deeply enough to make architectural calls, and the product side well enough to know which features actually matter.

I work remotely from Denmark, with clients across Europe. Engagements can be a focused sprint or an ongoing technical partnership — whatever fits your situation.

Vitus Cloud

Co-founded and built a B2B SaaS platform entirely from scratch. I was responsible for the full technical stack — architecture decisions, backend, frontend — as well as product strategy, roadmap prioritisation and stakeholder alignment through to a live product with paying customers.

The defining challenge was doing all of this without a separate product manager or architect. Every tradeoff between speed and correctness, between what customers asked for and what they actually needed, landed on the same desk. That experience is the foundation of how I work today.
